The European Small Hydropower Association (ESHA), the Hydro Equipment Association (HEA) and Eurelectric would like to invite you in the framework of the ‘European Union Sustainable Energy Week’ (EUSEW) to the High-level Policy meeting on Hydropower: investing in a sustainable future, on Tuesday, 25th June 2013, 9 am to 1 pm, at the Jacques Delors Building, Room JDE 70 at the Committee of the Regions (CoR), Rue Belliard 99-101, Brussels Belgium.
The event will focus on the new European energy market, its effect on energy prices and investments in hydropower and technology developments. It is adressing stakeholders from the hydropower community, as well as representatives of the renewable energy sector, regional organisations, financial institutions, investors in the energy market, policy-makers, and others interested in the topic.
In two panel discussions you will hear about the role of hydropower for our energy supply and get the opportunity to express your views and share your ideas on the future of the renewable energy and hydropower sector, with relevant stakeholders from different parts of Europe.
